7 Days Tanzania Authentic Family Safari

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your personal safari guide. Transfer to Rivertrees Country Inn in Arusha, a charming lodge set on a former coffee estate. Enjoy dinner and overnight in a family-friendly River House.

Accommodation: Rivertrees Country Inn (Full Board)

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Known for elephant herds, baobab trees, and rich birdlife. Later, head to Maramboi Tented Lodge, arriving in time for a guided nature walk by the lake.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara – Karatu

Depart for Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural tour and traditional lunch. Then enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions and diverse landscapes. In the evening, drive to Karatu Acacia Lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch. Look out for the Big 5, especially the endangered black rhino. Return to the lodge for relaxation or a farm walk.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

Head to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit a Maasai village, Olduvai Gorge Museum, and the shifting sands. Game drive through central Serengeti before overnighting at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
